Chesney Court, Maida Vale, W9

Huntsmore managed the entire design and build process of this apartment in Maida Vale. The property was completely reconfigured, moving all of the rooms from one side of the property to the other to maximise the light flow into the property.

The property was part of a 1930s mansion block and was a concrete construction. Once all the internal walls were removed, stud work was erected throughout to give the rooms shape. The theme was a contrasting black and white scheme whereby with the walls finished in Farrow & Ball 'Strong White' juxtaposing with the dark charcoal wood floors and black radiators. The property was sound proofed throughout.

The black and white theme continued in the bathroom, with bespoke storage units built behind the mirrored units.
